February 2011 Borderline Newsletter
Arnie called the meeting to order. Kristi read the Treasury Report and Bev read the Secretary’s Report. Corey made the motion to accept the reports as read, Tim seconded, and the motion passing.
Everyone had fun at the Christmas party. The Snow Day at the farm was good fun for everyone that attended, although one motor was blown.
There will be a Poker Run on March 26. Kristi had a sign-up sheet for the bus at the February meeting. When you sign up for the bus there will be a $10.00 non-refundable deposit. The deposit will go towards the cost of the bus. Remember you may ask your friends to join you. Kristi will bring the sign –up sheet to the March meeting, so be sure to either contact her before then or be at the meeting to sign-up.
Rob stated that we have a donated blazer for the Junk yard war between Borderline and Lone Riders. At the March meeting we can talk about what we need to do to the blazer to get it ready. It was decoded that the drawing for the trucks will be a 3 PM and the price of the tickets will be determined later.
Jon Graham (President of W4WDA) emailed Arnie and Bev about a possibility for Spring Fling this May. All he needs a number of trucks that will attend because Jon needs a commitment of 30 trucks at $60 per truck for this event. Apple Valley Farms/RPM is willing to hold the event on May 6, 7 & 8. We had some people interested but no real commitment.
There will be a Snow Drag Rides at Roper Farm on February 26 and 27.
Mark made the motion to close the meeting and Kristi seconded.
Remember to drive safely and we will see everyone at the March meeting.
