April 2011 Borderline Newsletter
Arnie called the meeting to order. Treasury Report and Secretary’s Report were read, Troy made the motion to accept the reports as read, Rob seconded, and the motion passing.
There was a Poker Run on March 26 and everyone had fun. Corey’s team was the winner of the Scavenger Hunt. Tony and Kristi have some great pictures of the event.
Remember to contact Jane for signing up for electrical spots at the farm.
The Challenge Game Committee will meet on April 23 at 7pm at Vieth’s. This is the first of several meetings before the big day.
It was discussed that the Road Clean-up will take place on April 30th. We will meet at Rob’s at 10:30 am with clean-up starting at 11:00 am. Hope to see everyone there. The more volunteers we have the sooner we get done.
When we are finished we will return to Rob’s to work on the Junkyard Truck. Please bring any parts for the Blazer that you are willing to donate.
Under new business we voted in Joseph L. as the newest member.
It was also voted on to give Arnie & Bev $100.00 for the MidWest Convention that they will be attending on the weekend of April 16.
Rob’s party will be May 21st so mark your calendars. No one wants to miss the crashing good time.
Clean-up at the Frontenac Farms will probably be a phone call affair. So far, the trials are to muddy to work on.
Lone Riders are having a Garage Sale the weekend of May 6th as part of the 100 mile garage sale. The money from the garage sale will go to help Abused Children, so if you need anything stop by their garage sale. The sale will be in Frontenac, the first house past the gas station.
Cory made the motion to close the meeting and Troy seconded.
Remember to drive safely and we will see everyone at the May meeting.
